ACH Direct Payment

ACH (Automated Clearing House) Direct Payment* is a fast and convenient way to have your money transferred from one financial institution to TBACU on a recurring basis.

ACH Direct Payment allows you the convenience of moving your money at any time and any amount, whether you want to set aside the same amount each week or month to save or you want an easy way to make your loan payment/s every month with us from an account you have at another financial institution.

How Does ACH Direct Payment Work?

If you have a loan with us, you can request that we initiate a repetitive transfer to debit your account from another financial institution and credit your TBACU loan account.

Likewise, if you have a loan here at TBACU, and it becomes delinquent, upon a call from Collections, you may be able to authorize a Telephone Initiated Transaction (TEL) "one-time" debit from your account at another institution to credit your past due TBACU loan.

In turn, if you want to increase your savings, you can request that we initiate a repetitive transfer to debit your account from another financial institution and credit your TBACU savings and/or checking accounts.

How To Get Started…The Process Is Simple!

As you can see, ACH Direct Payment is for a recurring money transfer. As with all money transfers in and out of TBACU, this is a controlled process that is balanced and monitored daily.

If you'd like to set up a recurring transfer, you will need to come into the Credit Union in person to get it started. You may also print a copy of the ACH Direct Payment form and complete the information requested. If you are transferring funds from another financial institution, the ACH Direct Payment form must be accompanied with a voided check or deposit slip from that institution.

What's The Cost?

There is no cost… ACH Direct Payment is FREE to all of our members!**

PLEASE NOTE... An ACH Direct Payment is used ONLY to transfer funds between accounts at financial institutions on a recurring basis. You can continue to pay your one time payments or monthly bills, such as utilities, phone, etc. by using our Online Bill Payment Service.

* All ACH transaction requests must be made before 3:00 PM for next day posting. Any request received after 3:00 PM will be processed the next business day and may take up to 48 hours to post to your account .** There is no fee for all auto-generated/ recurring transactions. However, a $10 per item fee will be incurred for all one-time transactions initiated outside of a Collections ACH Direct Payment. Funds must be available for withdrawals. If funds are not available at the time of ACH debit, other institution may charge insufficient fee and TBACU will charge a returned item fee for each transactions.
