Applying for Federal Stafford Loan through TBACU is simple!

Complete the FREE Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Your school's financial aid office will determine your financial need. If you qualify to receive aid, you will receive a financial aid award package outlining your eligibility for student loans.

Pick up your Student Loan or Parent Plus Master Promissory Note Application at any TBACU location, or contact us at 713-336-5500 or 800-577-3164 or e-mail, to receive your application by mail. You can even apply online for the Parent Plus Loan!

Complete and return your Master Promissory Note Application to your school's financial aid office, which certifies your eligibility.

TBACU receives the application and obtains a guarantee on the loan through Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation (TGSLC).

Your school will release the funds to you if eligibility is maintained.
